WHAT TO EXPECT

2012 takes the 16th Annual Crawfish Festival downtown temporarily while we continue working to find a new, hopefully permanent, home, back on the water. 21+ only please and as many of our loyal fans know, RAIN OR SHINE (2009 ! We have been working diligently for 8 months to address all the concerns from 2011, which we listened to, and took very seriously. We no longer have a limit on Port-O-Lets to cut those lines way down. Beyond that we added more beer taps and 3000 lbs. of Louisiana crawfish (up from 2000). The price of crawfish is still being worked out to try to get the best deal and still includes corn and potatoes, but we will still be offering plenty of other food as well as vegetarian options. Entry price is still the same, $30 prepay on this site (starting 4/1), and $35 day of the show, but this year we’re giving college students a break at $25, just be absolutely sure to have your college ID at will / call. Alcohol included in the price, but not food. Also, we have critically ramped up V.I.P. this year, which will be inside the Gibson Guitar Studio! 2012 is also the start of skate demos during the festival, with a huge half-pipe and semi-pro skaters.

Again, no one wanted to see our festival come off the water more than us, and we will get back into a field, and right back to our original Orlando hippie vibe. Thank you everyone for your continued support and especially patience. A portion of the proceeds is still donated to U.S. Veterans of Foreign Wars and a local abused woman’s home.

V.I.P this year will include gift bags, an afternoon and evening buffet, the best views of the festival, call drinks poured by hot-ass bartenders, air conditioning and comfort, plenty of beer and a huge decrease in wait time at the gate and for drinks and food.

Buses this year will be going round trip from U.C.F. Please keep checking back to this site for information concerning pickup and drop off locations and costs. Parking downtown will be at any of the usual lots.
