Conceived in the back of VW beetle sometime in the Mid 70′s, Spanky was brought into this world for one reason….. To bring the gift of laughter to the masses!! Born the only bastard child of a High School Jock and Head Cheerleader, Spank cut his teeth and cynical comedic style on the back streets of LA, while splitting time between his grandparents home and the dysfunctional home life he had with his mother.
At an early age Spank found his ear for music and was consumed with the entertainment bug. Although he loved to make people laugh he was convinced at an early age he was destine to be a Rock Star! This prophecy led him to take up the drums and the rest is history… Spank continued to play drums and studied music all throughout high school and found himself in a band shortly after several failed attempts at furthering his education in college. However, Spank would later return to
school to finish his education but first it was his destiny to rock and rock he did! Spank left college in the mid 90s and joined a band with some old friends from high school called Lunatic Candy Kreep. Spank and the Kreeps spent the next 15 years touring the country and living the dream… By dream I mean packed in stinky vans, dirty hotel rooms and cheap booze! During this time of Obsessive Partying and Debaucherous behavior Spank moved from LA down to Orlando FL, where during a local radio show interview the seed was planted for his future endeavors in the radio biz!! However, there were more faces to rock so the show went on…
Fast Forward to Jan of 2008… While on a hiatus from touring and working one afternoon for “The Man” Spank over heard a commercial for a Broadcasting School here in Orlando. Immediately reminding him of the seed that was planted in his head 7 years earlier and the gears begin to turn. Spank promptly quit his day job and enrolled back into School… “Radio College” This seemed to be the answer to moving forward in his dream to be an entertainer. The perfect segue from the Rock and Roll lifestyle that had consumed his life for the last decade. Upon graduation, Spank took an Internship with The Buckethead Show and quickly made an impact with his outgoing personality, creative wit and song parody’s! While in the last semester of his internship Spank was given the challenge of training the incoming Interns. One of these Interns just happen to be Timothy Richards, who Spank later named “Tim Vestite” after hearing a story about said Intern making out with a Tranny. The name stuck and as they say the rest is history…
